Mbale Orphans Council - mainly AIDS orphans - set up and run by ACET Uganda. ACET Mbale works in 53 villages in remote rural areas: supporting Community Action Groups, Village Savings and Loans Associations, providing lifeskills and HIV prevention for young people in school, income generation, preventing mother to child transmission (MTCT), encouraging compliance with antiviral therapy for HIV.
