Cookies and similar storage
We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. We set two strictly necessary cookies to keep the site and its forms secure, and remember your cookie choice in your browser. If you accept cookies, YouTube may set its own cookies when you watch a video. Full details are in our cookie policy.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling. We only share it with the services we use to run the site:
- Website hosting: our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database on servers in the United Kingdom.
- Email delivery: Google, which sends enquiry notifications and comment reply emails.
- YouTube (Google): videos are played from YouTube. In privacy-enhanced mode, YouTube does not set cookies until you press play. If you accept cookies, the standard YouTube player is used. Google’s use of this information is covered by the Google privacy policy.
- X (formerly Twitter): Patrick’s latest posts on X are fetched by our server and shown as text. Your browser does not connect to X unless you follow a link to it.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

The website and its database are hosted in the United Kingdom. Google, which delivers our emails and plays YouTube videos, may process information outside the UK, including in the United States, under the safeguards set out in its own terms.
