How older people will gain huge political power

Retired people will have great power in future to swing elections - if organizations like AARP in America become more focussed on political change. AARP already has more than 40 million members, more than the margin in most US presidential elections. What will grey power mean in consumer trends, marketing, promotions and political campaigning?
