Letters on Human Cloning to Dr Patrick Dixon - and video-replies (1998).

Here are a few of many e-mails received on human cloning, mainly from people who want to be cloned themselves. And here are my cloning video-replies, unedited as if part of a live question and answer session. Some human cloning e-mails have been read out on Sky News, BBC TV, GMTV and many other TV stations in Europe. One at least has been referred to in Parliament and featured in the national UK press.

The Baby made from two mothers and one father (1998).

After fertilisation, the developing embryo was implanted into the older woman's womb. The method is an alternative to egg donation for an older woman, where she lands up carrying a child that is not hers genetically. Six couples have undergone treatment at the Huntington Reproductive Centre in Los Angeles.

Truth about Clonaid claims: first human clone - Eve - plus four more?

Futurist Keynote Speaker: Posts, Slides, Videos - What is Human Cloning? How to Clone. But Ethical?

Clonaid announced birth of "first human clone" on December 26th 2002. Eve was born by caesarean section after being created by Clonaid using a technique similar to that used to clone Dolly the sheep. Clonaid said they had four other mothers expecting to give birth to clones soon and announced a second birth to a Dutch lesbian woman early in January 2003 and a third to a Japanese couple who "cloned their dead son killed in an accident", plus two others in late January. All five babies were said to be well but with no independent verification whatsoever, doubts increased by the day. However,  it could only be a matter of time before some team or other can prove that they have won the global human cloning race.
