Comment on video: "I have visited Russia several times plus other former Soviet Bloc nations such as Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Despite astonishing growth and cultural transformation, it will take several decades for these nations to eliminate all traces of Stalin's influence and that of other Soviet rulers - seen in architecture, city design and the ever-present, almost identical tower blocks of apartments.  It will also take another decade or two for the post-Soviet generation to become the dominant force.  Those who grew up under Communism tend to have a very different outlook to those whose entire adult life has been lived after the fall of the old system.  In the meantime we continue to see a cultural gap in the workplace, offices, factories and communities of the entire region."

Video covers issues related to economy and economic growth of Russia and central Asia. Huge catchup in big cities with massive infrastructure projects. Huge economic opportunities in former soviet bloc countries outside the largest cities in regional development. Huge economic growth in places like Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan. Expect the same in places like Belarus. Business growth and multinational investment. Foreign direct investment. Conference keynote speaker and Futurist Dr Patrick Dixon.
