Video 100 words per minute -watch video of demo using Dragon NaturallySpeaking live with no editing. As an author I have used speech recognition to help write books and have also used it for e-mail. The biggest limitation is still processor speed and even a 2 gig machine with 256k RAM is not as fast at displaying analysed text as I would like. Having said that, it always catches up in the end and does produce text amazingly quickly if you learn to speek clearly. The demo was made with a machine running at only 25% of the speed above and is still impressive.
