FAST way to deal with Mikeyy stalkdaily.com Twitter virus attack - which swept globally on 12-13th April.  This fix takes less than 2 seconds but you really do need to be quick or the Twitter virus will stop you.

1)  Open your profile

2)  You will see the first field (your name) has been replaced by a long line of code which makes the virus work

3) After a second or two you have probably found that the page has refreshed and gone to another site (maybe stalkdaily.com).

4)  Get ready with your delete button and mouse and press the back button on your browser.

5) You have just half a second now to delete couple of characters in the corrupt Name field and click SAVE before the screen refreshes.

6) You will get an error message from Twitter that your name field is too long - and the profile page is now stable.

7) Now replace any remaining corrupt text with your name as before, restore your own web address, and change back your background / appearance details back to what they were.

8) Change your password - just in case.

All done.

How to avoid Twitter virus attacks in future:

There are a number of steps to take to protect yourself from future virus attack.  The most important is to use a strong password - longer than 8 characters, letters and numbers.  Also be VERY careful about using free Twitter software or sites which ask for your Twitter accound name and password in case they are a front for hackers.
